Nokia e66 review
If you have ever wanted a phone that has it all, then this is nokia's answer for you.
back when the blackberry was fast becoming the smart phone of choice(before the advent of iphone),
nokia designed the e71 a PDA like phone and the e66 its sister phone basically for business functions and email retrival.
but if you think the phone is all work and no play, you are greatly mistaken.With a 3.2 megapixel camera,GPS,maps and superior sound quality,
the phone has a motion sensor for switching landscapes like a few other phones, but what sets it apart from others is that you can switch orientation in any program and not just while watching videos,by simply turning the phone.
it has a dual mode function, where you can have different customisations for work and play, switching between both with just a button.
it comes with a 2gigabyte memory card expandable to 8gigabyte you don't need me to tell you thats alot of space.the sound quality is surprisingly good for a business phone
the nokia e66 is truly a great product, but even great products are not perfect as you will soon see.
since i used my first symbian phone(sendo x) i've been hooked to the symbian operating system and this phone takes the os to a new level.
you can multiprocess switching from one program to another using the home button(the key looks like a home) as you would normally use a menu button,
for business, its mail function and organiser options are really good. it has dedicated keys for quick access to calender and organiser, email,contacts and menu, which can be reconfigured to suit your needs.
in conclusion,just as the nintendo wii is popular so is the iphone,but like the wii, the iphone lacks in many areas for performance enthusiats, which the nokia e66 like the ps3 and xbox360 delivers.
